Я лично считаю, что овашка 1999 года про предысторию Кеншина - это лучшее, что вообще в линейке было. И тут 15-я серия... Как так халтурить можно, когда у вас есть всеми любимая и признанная история, на которую можно ссылаться. Очень обидно, зря потраченного времени.

До этого момента пытался как-то лояльно к ремейку относится, но лучше бы создатели в принципе опустили эту часть истории, чем демонстрировали её таким образом.

Вот насколько пропитано пафосом это - в 1996 может японским зрителям и зашло оно - но сейчас оно не выдерживает проверку временем. Главная проблема в том что в эпоху Мэйдзи уже не было того самурайского духа. Во всю использовалось огнестрельное оружие и будем честны - у мечников самураев не было ни единого шанса против него. Последняя самурайская война наверное Битва при Микатагахаре 1573 года. После этого уже не было понимания Бусидо и чего то подобного.

What a bloody painful fight T_T but impressive perseverance :) While watching I kept thinking that's a frequent situations in the stories: a char decides on smth risky and goes alone, saying or not their farewells like here :) And...? What's the right reaction here? I've always been annoyed greatly how all the friends still try to tag along despite being a hindrance WHY?! if you were specifically asked not to interfere (－‸ლ) Can you even be called a friend if you can't respect their decision?! Buuut then again... changing the pov...sigh :( If I feel like they are wrong, am I even allowed to twiddle my thumbs when my friend is in a dangerous situation? They are free to do whatever them deem right but the same goes about me as well. Though again as that saying goes, 'Your freedom ends when the other person's freedom begins'. But doing nothing may become your regret for all your remaining life if they actually fail... Why is everything complicated in human relationship?! :(

I recollected how annoying that girl was (－‸ლ) nothing changed in this version. All her depressive moping when everyone else around is being so proactive felt repulsive. It even surprised me I was so harsh to her, being heartbroken is no joke, I get it but still I can't do anything with negative emotions she always arouses in me :(
